I didn't realize they're a 7th Fast & Furious movie, and I almost don't believe it. I remember seeing the first one (in 2002?) and wasn't really interested in seeing the next one. I hadn't really paid attention that they've made more than 2 or 3 of them..

Yup, filming begins in August 2013 with a theater release date of July 2014. It
will be about Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) who will get revenge on the gang for killing his brother, Owen Shaw. Sounds pretty good from what they have said about it. James Wan will be directing this time. Justin Lin has bowed out.

What's funny is there's not many movies that make 5 sequels that are so successful. For the most part I've enjoyed just about all of those movies. They aren't overly complicated, and the racing is pretty fun to watch.

It's one of those movies I like to just disconnect and enjoy for what it is. Vin Diesel is pretty cool too.

Honestly I'm more interested in the new Riddick flic.

Vin Diesel is so rad. I saw him in xXx and it was pretty weird. Had a James Bond picturesque to it though.

Universal has a way of making popular movies. Gigli was a riot for a one time movie. I got a kick out of their jive talking that was so quaint and yet so quirky. I remember the bedroom scene with Al Pacino, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.

Vin Diesel is pretty awesome. I thought he left that franchise after the first one or two, though.
Certainly didn't see him on any of the later ones' commercials, at least the few of which I actually saw.
Guess that includes the few movie previews, too... I don't get out much like that. I may have to check
some of them out now, despite all of the whining about them that I just did.
I really wish he would've stayed with XXX; I still haven't been able to make myself watch the Ice-T or Ice
Cube or Dry Ice or whoever the eff was in the 2nd one. :|
