    I'm curious too. But from the screenshots they've shown so far, I
    think the ship looks ugly. It looks very similar to the re-designed Enterprise they almost used for the Star Trek: Phase II TV show in the late 70s, which they cancelled in favor of Star Trek: The Motion
    Picture.

    It seems that they did that on purpose, due to the fact that the
    series will happen 10 years before the NCC-1701 launched for
    its first five-year mission with James Kirk as Captain.

    Here in Brazil we can see the Star Trek: Discovery logo into the
    series roster. :)

    Nice. I didn't see any info about Discovery on Netflix a month ago, should look again.

    If we're talking about the new series, I've heard a few years before the NCC-1701 as well. However, I've also heard that it will be between TOS and the Movies and after Voyager (though it's been a while since I heard that particular one)
