It's too hard to pick just one. My favorite albums of theirs are Moving Pictures through Counterparts.

Currently Power Windows is my favorite, but it changes from time to time. Marathon is my favorite song off that album.

Honestly, I dont think there's a single Rush album that hasnt been my favorite at some point.

Also enjoyed Counterparts, favorite song from THAT album is "Boat on a River".

Rush's Counterparts didn't have a song with that name.. ??

Moving Pictures: and it's a toss-up between Tom Sawyer and Red
    Barchetta.

MP was one of the first albums I bought with my own money and listened to in its entirety with big ol' can headphones - with the big plug and the long coiled cord.

Believe or not, I'm not a big Rush fan. I can appreciate their music
abilities and song writing, but I think there's something else that keeps me from listening to them occasionally.

My guess is it goes back to the time when I'd hear the loccal radio stations play their songs multiple times a day. I never imagined I could get burned
out on listening to a great group. I'd say Rush, Pink Floyd, and U2 fall into my burned out category.

Maybe it's a form of rebellion against the status quo. Some bands are expected to be liked by my age group, and certain albums are also expected to be in everybody's musical library. There used to be a joke that the album,
Frampton Comes Alive is issued to every student in high school.

I did not like that album when it came out. I had to ruminate on it for about 10 years before I could sit and listen to it. Now it's one of my favorites. All I thought about Frampton after he left Humble Pie was that he was just another Tiger Beat dudes.

Crap, you're right, I was thinking of the Cornerstone Album by Styx.
