• Media Centers.

I figured I would start the Media Center discussion over here.

I have (2) XBMC media center systems (which are small ASRock ION 330 systems). One connected in the family room and one in the master bedroom.

Previously, used original Xbox consoles (one still being used on one old TV).

Just recently setup a MythTV backend using MythBuntu in a virtual machine. The

I am greatly looking forward to the new XBMC 11.x later this year (hopefully) which will add the PVR functionality.

Last week, I received my new HDHomerun Prime which has 3-tuners using a multistream cable card. Been working on ways to have streams play through XBMC
    and using MythBox's TV Guide.

It is bleeding edge, so there are some bumps on the road - but has been a fun work in progress.

Thanks for sharing! I'm working on a media PC and am looking for inspiration/tips. Right now I've got a low-end box that I plug into our multi-input TV but am looking for something to work alongside Netflix through my Apple TV.

My favorite media center by far is XBMC. They have plugins for just about everything. The one thing they have lacked is front-end support for PVR systems (ie. MythTV, MediaPortal, etc). That is being added right now and will
be included in the new release - hopefully around Christmas time.
