  • AEA PK-900

    So I was given a AEA PK-900 that is blown up...

    The screen back light lights up, the LCD displays the info, then turns off the screen back light goes dark for a second. The lights back up, and it starts all over again.

    Pulled the board,
    5 volt regulator ok
    8 volt regulator ok
    -5 volt regulator ok

    The MPU test point is 2.3 volts,
    all the other test points are 5 volts?

    From what I was told. The owner plugged it into a 24volt wall wart, and it
    was all she wrote after that....

    Any ideals?
