DX Convention

I see mention of the Hamvention in Dayton, OH. I would like to attend some time, but life gets in the way. I was actually in Dayton back around 1996
or 97. The trucking company I worked for has a terminal there. I was
actually there, but was unable to attend as I was stranded without transportation and had little money for food, let alone cab fare.
However, I did see lots and lots of ham radio license plates later as I
headed west.
I was wondering whether or not anyone attended the DX Convention here in Visalia, CA last month. I was there on Saturday from about 0745 until about 1345. Of course, it was a short drive for me; from one on-ramp to the next off-ramp and around the block, a ten minute drive.
