    A Ham Hijinks Staff Report

OWENSBURG, VIRGINIA -ÿ One local amateur radio operator is participating in National Signing Day activities by committing to Yaesu radios. The day is typically set asideÿfor student athletes to formalize their intent to pursue a specific program. But Conner Bailey, a senior at Owensburg Technical School decided to lock in a deal with Yaesu.

"I like Yaesu's proven record. Their commitment to success now and in the future with those frequent firmware updates really impressed me," he says.ÿ"I had some initial talks with MFJ but I felt like my logbook was deeper than that."
