Hi. Many of you have known me for along time and yet some of you have
not. I have helped more than a few people get their HAM licenses and for that
    I am blessed.

W6BBS aka TommyKnocker was the BEST investment that I ever made. Just check out his Web Page or google W6BBS and see for yourself..

TK is possibly one of the most logical guys I have ever met and I am
VERY proud to say that I met him here while we were both running SBBS boards.

    Warlord......

Well Angus is partially correct here. Angus, Warlord, and Spaceman Spiff, (n3jnc) all bugged me for several years to get my ticket. Warlord was the guy that finally broke down my resistance by calling me up one evening and telling me he had just sent me a 2 meter ht and to go get a license. The next morning I went to radio shack and bought a tech manual. The next weekend I took the test and passed the novice and tech. Warlod then went out a bought me a Yaesu 2600M 2 meter rig to congradulate me and Angus bought me an Oak Hills QRP CW kit. Even Spiff got into the act by building me a 2 meter j-pole and sending it to me.
That was all it took to get the maniac started. Since then I have made over 8000 HF contacts and worked 307 DXCC entities. I am the local VE Exam Team Liaison, I have even been dubbed "The Voice Of Madera" by my friends do to my antenna farm. My current antenna farm is 90% home brew beams and my loop.

So you all can Blame all 3 of them for my Amateur Madness!!!!
