    I talked with Frank on the phone last night after dinner.
    We chatted about Ham Radio, BBSing, Synchronet and life in general.
    My friends put up 2 Motorola Quantar P-25 repeaters in the 440 Mhz
    Amateur Band 110 watts output capable of BOTH analog and P-25 operation.

    Myself, I put up a GMRS repeater (Vertex VXR-7000) on a hilltop
    about 1900' above sea level. It puts out 50 watts into a 4-dipole UHF
    antenna fed with LMR-600 cable and an ARR GasFet PreAmp. I did this
    for those friends of mine that do not yet have their Ham Radio licenses. Warlord KA6HGT
