Does anyone know what frequency on 2 meter you can pick up on the shuttle crew and ISS during a mission? I was in Florida and herd some mission coverage on what i thought was 442.050 is this just in Florida? I was in Palmetto Beach, FL when I picked up on it.

Depends on where you live... Most local clubs, ect. broadcast NASA TV coverage. ie. 145.45 here in southeast MI. You are not going to hear the actual shuttle on 2 meter or 70cm.

Jason do you
have echolink up there? And if so what is your node number? I'll try and give a shout out. That would be pretty cool.. --- KDOBVI
If its me, I am in Sparks, Nv. As far as echolink, I have no clue what the node is. I am sure there are a few repeaters around here that have a node.

It would be hard to catch. But whewn they are operating it can be heard
and if you have the Orbit chart and know when they are line of site and
do some Dopler Shift corecting.

Well, since most of their comms (90 percent) are on 2.2GHZ, my statement is JV>correct.
This is a HAM Echo and I was speaking of the operation of the Ham
Station on on the Shuttle. SO I am correct Also.
