    Hi all. I just purchased a new Yaesu VX8 handheld and it's really a nice radio. Even has a built in TNC for APRS. Works well here in Los Angeles area
    on 223 Mhz with 1 1/2 watts out. Also I recently put up my Butternut HF-2V 80- 40 meter 33' verticle with ground wires so I can enjoy low banding again. My first contact on 80 SSB was N7KGA in Washington State around 10 PM here.
