From The Outlaw@VERT/CBLISS to All on Mon May 2 03:52:00 2011
ow.. I've been radio active since the mid 70's and have been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1988 but have pretty much grown tired of hearing the same old crap day in and day out spewed by many of the local operators. Thus, am considering the selling off of most of my radios. Are there many
HAMs here that would be interested or should I simply stick to ebay, eham and craigslist?

    J..

Ahhh yes.. A little potassium Iodide! That could help. I've thought of potassium cyanide but I can't tolerate being around some of them enough to be able to lace their lunches. ;-)

let a old ham sit out in the sun in the summer for a month.
slice and enjoy, that will do you.

    Will do.
For starters, I have a Kenwood TS440S/AT and an Icom IC-2400A but will generate a good list soon.
Pretty much everything from DC to daylight.

Wow, not much happening in this area. I had my ham ticket back in the 90's, and mainly played around with 2m and 440. Unfortunately my license expired back in 2001, because I wasn't paying attention. Any ideas how difficult it is to get a license now? I had the no-code tech.

    Thanks,

If in US it is fairly easy, depending.. the best thing to do is check with your local radio club to get with your local VEs but there is plenty of study material online (and even on the BBSes) to help study for your test.
