    Hi Lloyd,

    Can you please, please, please, please, please keep your advertisements to the "Advertisements" echo? I think most of us who have run BBSes have managed to get users without spamming our BBS everywhere. It takes time, but if your BBS is unique enough and has something people want, you'll get users.

    Spamming your board everywhere is far more likely to put people off. BBS users are a fickle lot. Many of them escape to BBSes to get away from the advertisements they're bombarded with all over the internet on a daily basis.

    I post my ad ONCE A MONTH...I feel that if folks want to logon to my
    system, they'll do it. But, it's the repeated posts that forced me to
    activate the duplicate message zapper in the BBS Ad echoes.
