2o finally outgrew the Raspberry Pi 4!
    We're now on a Dell r330 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1280 v5 @ 3.70GHz 64GB RAM running under a ProxMox hypervisor!

This is just a test; did I get out? beep b00p.

Got you here. No QWKnet tagline however. :-(

    Congrats on the upgrade!

How could you outgrow the Pi?

Run proxmox on it and pretend it has 64GB...

That is one heck of an upgrade, I hope you are running half a dozen VMs on there, LOL.

Nice, would suggest giving the BBS 2 cpu cores and 8gb ram give or take.

I actually had set it w/ 4 cores and 8gb RAM, but recently pulled the RAM back to 4GB... my Pi 4 only had 1gb RAM and I ran that for years!! [Amazing...]

I think I might pull the cores back to 2, too..... 2 cores, 4gb RAM. Seems like for the limited bbS services I run that thats enough.

    :P

Agreed, I would think 2 cores and 4Gb is *plenty* for a BBS.

It may well be enough... I have separate instances (terminal, mail,
main-web, rmweb, ecweb, nntp, irc, other services) running, and found
that if I left it running, often 4GB would die with out of memory
errors. Of course, I bumped to a larger VPS when I separated the
services, still don't know what spun out.
