Hi, I was wondering if it is feasible/approved to sync the fidonet msg bases through DOVE-Net on my bbs... if so, is there a list of the fidonet qwk conf id's?

That's unlikely to be OK in FidoNet, especially if you're posting. I'm not sure if there's a way to route Netmail to a user on your BBS through Fidonet.

Setting up BinkIT and getting a FidoNet address/feed is pretty easy now days. gone are the weeks and weeks of waiting with greedy hubs charging a montly fee to give you your mail.

No, DOVE-Net is only a "gateway" for a couple of Synchronet-related message areas on FidoNet, otherwise, FidoNet conferences/echoes cannot be gated through DOVE-Net.

Hey DaiTengu, I do need help with setting up fidonet... I started the process of getting a node addy and the guy actually died before he could finish... then, the guy who was helping me disappeared... he hasn't responded in months... that's why I was looking for alternatives... so, I have node addy, but nothing works yet... is that something you could help me with? Thanks

You have a node address already? All you need is to set up .. uh, whatever Mystic uses for binkd, and your echos. If you want, you can e-mail me at daitengu@warensemble.com.

I'd be happy to help you out via some chat platform too, (irc/discord/skype/whatever). we can talk about that in e-mail if you like.
