Hi,

I'm setting up a BBS, using Synchronet v3.19 Linux.
Upload/download of files is very unstable (see picture)
https://im.ge/i/ONWaJP

Suceed rate is probably around 20%, using SyncTerm and ZMODEM.
Have also tried with different bauds.

Any suggestions on how I can improve stability ?

Using what version of SyncTERM? v1.2b has known upload issues, don't use it for uploading. Use the most recent release (v1.1) instead.

If you're using SyncTERM v1.2b, don't.

Wow, that resolved my issues! Downgraded to SyncTERM v1.1 and up/down is incredibly fast and reliable. Thank you so much for your help and all you do for the BBS world!

MagicTerm use sexyz lib and work without problem (i dont know if a
patched version).

Maybe the issues is not on the protocol code.

The issue is with the changes that Deuce made when implementing RIP support. The 'P' in 'RIP' does standard for "protocol", but I suspect that's not the protocol you were thinking of.

ive been using ZOC as that I use that for work and they paid for it :D but i've also used procomm plus for windows (win 98 telnet) and terminat (DOS - rs232)
without any issues. To be honest i've never used syncterm :D
