    Just curious how people backup their boards

    I have a cronjob taking daily/weekly/monthly backups periodically and cleaning up stale backups. What OS do you use?

    I'm using Raspberry Pi OS, which is based on Debian Unix.

    Isn't it Debian Linux? I don't think Debian makes a Unix..

    There is a Debian on top of FreeBSD... but I doubt that's what OP is
    using here.

    Holy hell this is interesting. I wonder if it combines the positives of Debian and FreeBSD, or if it moreso combines the negatives of each lol.

    Well, I have a lot of tasks this weekend, suddenly standing this up in a VM to play with just became a top priority hehe.

    There's also DigitalOcean's storage (also S3 compatible) or backblaze as other alternatives.

    I can also vouch for DigitalOcean in general. It's a bit costly compared to some of the budget VPS services (as well as storage, etc) but it's a very mature product from my perspective and I've been a happy customer of theirs for years.

    No idea on that one, only knew it had been done before.

    Lol... fair enough... I've been (slowly) working on building my file archive(s) and mirrors.

    A friend of mine tried it and said that the installer worked
    great, but it does not produce bootable system.
