    Hello all,

Just testing my new setup on SBBS v2.30c for DOS... :-)

Still working on the auto-callout stuff, doing manaul UL/DL for now.

    FYI:
Received vert.rep from TRANTOR via QWK.

So your VERT.REP file (zip acrhive) you're sending to VERT contains another VERT.REP file.

Hmmm, interesting. I did see my post show up in the echo as intended.
Same issue that Hobo experienced with his experimental 2.30/DOS setup...

Will keep working on things, and try to keep it from being too messy.
Does that extra .REP file cause any problems on that end? As in, is it something that you have to manually clean up?

No, it doesn't cause any problem - just a message for me when I logon. <shrug> It is an indicator that something's odd going on however.

Just testing my new setup on SBBS v2.30c for DOS... :-)

DigitalMan made a change to the login process on vert to support the old scripts that look for an "NN:" login prompt, and with that and a small edit I made to the Telix sbbsqnet.slt script, I was able to use the telix script to automatically download a QWK packet. If this message gets through... then it also uploads a REP packet.
I've enjoyed playing with this vintage version of Synchronet, and it looks like you are too!

Synchronet for DOS is related to my interests. Do I need to get my network packet drivers ready?

    Also, <3 Telix :)

Telix was my go to back in the day! Are you going to set up a Synchro for DOS too?
