In my dove net qwk setup I noticed I have my fsx hub info is included in the settings. I figure it should read 0/0:0 instead of my fsx hub address. This is in the message areas, network, fidonet address option. I wanted to change it to 0's but cannot find a way to do it. I have the fidonet option off and qwk on
so it works great. I just noticed it today. Probably me playing around with that clone feature in the past. Lol. Is there a way to remove the fsx hub address from the configuration?

If the message area (sub-board) is set with "FidoNet EchoMail" to "No", then the FTN address displayed there isn't used for anything and can be ignored. The online help in SCFG tries to convey this:
Sub-board FidoNet Address:
If this sub-board is part of a FidoNet EchoMail conference, this is
the address used for this sub-board.

Thank you Digital Man. I am being more careful with going wild with the clone option moving forward. That must have been what happened... I just wanted to be neat and make it 0:0/0. I am not going to reinvent the wheel. It works just fine. Have a great day.

If it really bothers you, you can edit the ctrl/msgs.ini file directly and remove that FTN address from that sub or group.

I looked in the ctrl directory and do not have a msgs.ini file. I have a lot of msgs.cnf files but no .ini file for msgs.

That'd be because you're still running SBBS v3.19. The conversion from msgs.cnf (and other .cnf files) to .ini format happened in v3.20.
