  • dosbox on linux for doors

    currious if anyone has patched and compiled dosbox on linux for running doors, compile time is around 18 minutes in the rpi2

    Weird. I did a apt-get install for dosbox; never had to compile it.

    BTW, dosbox isn't going to work like dosemu, unfortunately.

    i'm not sure that you need to build it with the hal 9000 socket inherence patch or if that's just for win32 only.

    has anybody even tried running dosbox under linux to execute doors?
    i have no interest. i have ran an entire bbs under linux and dosbox and had no probs.

    dosemu, if it's available should run much better than dosbox... That said, in environments where 16-bit console mode dos/windows and dosemu aren't available (osx, and win64) dosbox should be an option.
