From Jas Hud@VERT/DSTREAM to All on Sun Sep 17 18:00:00 2006
here's a simple little ditty that allows users
    to upload their prepared signatures.

    # sig uploader v 04-26-06
    !Include sbbsdefs.inc
    !Include userdefs.inc

    cmdkey /s
    print "\r\nprepare to receive %4.sig\r\n"
#you can also do this internally, i chose the quick route
    exec "cmd /c del %j\\user\\%4.sig"
    receive_FILE_VIA Z "%j\\user\\%4.SIG"
    end_cmd

REMOVE_FILE is the command you were looking for. It runs on Windows 9x and *nix too.
