I see this in my FTP server log:
May 14 07:31:16 cvs sbbs: ftp 0079 Hostname: S0106bc9b683c0b7e.vs.shawcable.net [96.48.151.84]
May 14 07:31:55 cvs sbbs: ftp 0079 <Guest> cannot upload to /main/MISC (insufficient access)
I don't allow "Guest" to upload into public directories. Authenticating as "The Millionaire" instead should fix that.
This time I did that. Same error.
Different error on my side:
May 14 13:33:56 cvs sbbs: ftp 0149 <The Millionaire> uploading: Test.txt to /main/MISC/ (/xfer/misc/) in passive mode
May 14 13:33:56 cvs sbbs: ftp 0149 <The Millionaire> !DATA ERROR 0 receiving on data socket 120
May 14 13:33:56 cvs sbbs: ftp 0149 TLS info 'Received TLS alert message: Protocol version' (-20) popping data
May 14 13:33:56 cvs sbbs: ftp 0149 !ERROR: recv on socket returned unexpected value: -20 (line 547)
Maybe try just using regular FTP and not FTPS/TLS.
Also, maybe you try uploading to your *own* BBS (and not Vertrauen) as a test? --
