Hi guys,
I have the following setup.

I set forward email to netmail, option m in default settings to yes, and entered my gmail email address (in other words, the system is supposed to > > foward all email to me at my gmail address.
According to logs, mail gets out and all bits are set orrectly i.e. it sa > > that mail should be forwarded. Problem is that when I use gmail as my

The log entries from the Synchronet sendmail thread will give you the clue (e.g. error messages) you're looking for. The sendmail thread will attempt delivery a configurable number of times and then bounce the mail back to the > sender, so if gmail is refusing the mail, it'll eventually bounce back, but
check your log for the delivery attempts.
So I was able to track this down to the SPF and DKIM entries. I can do one of two things--set up SPF and DKIM on my domain itself based on a tool, or I can use my mail MTA (fastmail)'s records. I've used their configured records, and things seem to be moving now.
I'm not sure if this is the correct behavior, but when the forward happens, it shows in my mail client as coming from my fastmail email address via my synchronet username. If I send mail via the mail.synchro.net relay, I may get more complete/correct addressing i.e. correct from: address.

I can, in point of fact, actually receive mail at port 25. It might be a cool experience to set up valid spf and DMARC so that I can use the actual server tosend via the Synchronet SMTP. For now though, I think I can get it to work viasending through mail.synchro.net or via sending with my MTA. Am I missing
something, or am I on the right track mail-wise.
