I just re-read the wiki article.. it sounds like I don't want a source address specified, and just want the links... is that what I goofed on?
Source Address Use this selected address for files sent to other systems linked to this FDN area; NOTE: Overrides default use of first
FTN address in the System Address List as well as global address
selection methods
Links Systems linked to this FDN area; at least your uplink's
address should be entered here; other systems you feed this FDN area to are also listed here
No, no, and no.
I believe you said you are just receiving files from your upstream hub,
and NOT sending them on to any downlinks.
The 'Links' keyword is *ONLY* used when you have downlinks that you want
the files to go to. If the Wiki says otherwise it is wrong. You
absolutely do NOT need to specify a Source Address, either.
For your use case, as a receiver-only of files from upstream, you only
need two lines:
[FSX_NODE]
Dir=fsx_node
That's it. That's all. Repeat for other connected areas. Your system
is sending the files back to your hub *BECAUSE* you have the "links"
keyword defined. The "Dir" referenced there must already exist in SCFG.
*NONE* of the other stuff you showed in your example tickit.ini should
be there.
... So easy, a child could do it. Child sold separately.
