Thought this would go in as new feature request; maybe it has to be changed by admin.

Telgate displays control-[ menu as does rlogin by default. rlogin has a -q option to quiet this output. Would like to see similar argument for telgate.js in future.

While you're fiddling with telnet_gate stuff, can you add an option to conditionally pass a username and/or password? There is a site I use that required the user to enter a password that is displayed and I'd rather just have it entered for them upon connection.

It sounds like you just want strings stuffed into the output buffer. Could username and/or password, could be anything.
