Greetings All!
I am ready (or I thought) to put my new SBBS online.. I have been working most of the morning with another sysop trying to trouble shoot a netmail issue. He sends me netmail to new SBBS setup and when I logon on I see "SBBSecho: Netmail from name redacted at fido address" However when I go to read it, it reports that I have no mail? Ive tried what we could think of to check, any ideas?
Sounds like you're bitten by this (fixed) bug:

Best to upgrade to a more recent v3.18a build and delete your data/mail.* files so they'll be recreated, correctly, by the newer (fixed) version.
Or, you can work-around the issue by using "smbutil c" to change the data/mail "attributes" value from 0 to 1 ('/sbbs/exec/smbutil c /sbbs/data/mail').
