I'm looking to start up a new QWK network but can't see any documents on how to set up the relevant Synchronet BBS to work as a QWK hub and seting up the message areas etc. Can someone point me to the appropriate documentation? Thx!

Hi Marisa,

In scfg, under message areas -> groups -> [some group] -> message sub-boards -> [some board] -> network options there is the toggle for marking a board as "QWK Networked" (I /guess/ that is needed for something :)).

Accounts should have the 'Q' restriction, which could be set by enabling the relevant signup question: ask_qnet = true under [newuser] in modopts.ini

You will need to enable the FTP server; there is also something in the old web interface which seems somewhat working.

I hope it helps a little. :) I haven't so far as to set something like this up... So quite possibly I miss something...
