• Posting message Using /upload

After starting uploading a file using the /upload command while posting a message in a sub, the client shows the upload was successful (using both syncterm and mtelnet) however synchronet hangs. **I must force disconnet and relogin.** When I go to post/read again it says there is an unsaved draft Use it? answering yes reopens the editor and I can then save/post the message.

I assume you're talking about the internal line-based (not full-screen) message editor?

I tried this myself just now (using ZMODEM) and it worked as expected:

    E-mail: F

Sending E-mail to Digital Man #1

    Subject: test

Enter message now (9999 lines max). Type /? on a new line for menu. ----+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+-- RE: Feedback

    /upload

    [X] XMODEM-Original (SEXYZ) [1] XMODEM-1K/CRC (SEXYZ)
    [Y] YMODEM-1K (SEXYZ) [G] YMODEM-G (SEXYZ)
    [2] YMODEM (SZ) [Z] ZMODEM-windowed (SEXYZ)
    [9] ZMODEM-streaming (SEXYZ) [S] ZMODEM-segmented (SEXYZ)
    [L] Local Copy

    Protocol or Quit: Z

Start transfer now (Ctrl-X to abort):
    **B01
    45 lines (1,008 bytes) received.

and I can then /l (list) the message and /s to save.
