Re: FTN-based message area names

Curious, when I do a new scan on an ftn message area, the default prompt shows the 'short name' which is the ftn tag (let's say it's "FSX GEN").
The short name doesn't "have" to be the FTN tag. The sysop could make that a different, more descriptive name.
That feels a little cryptic, as in some of the areas, that tag isn't very descriptive (for example, "FSX MAG", which was originally a tag for Magicka BBS, is now actually the area for Talisman BBS discussion)...
Is there a way to show the full area name in the prompt?
The "long name" of an area is too long I belive, making that prompt wrap or truncate on most (e.g. 80 column) terminals, depending on the length of the long name of course.
As I'm typing this, I realize this may be a function of command shell customization and maybe I should just search harder and read the docs...
The file area stuff will be more customizeable (via JavaScript) in future versions of Synchronet, so it may be possible for a sysop to do just that if they wanted, but in deciding the defaults of things, I have to take the typical BBS terminal dimensions and variable string lengths into account.
