How/When do the 00index files get generated?
The FTP server (ftpsrvr.c) generates the 00index.txt file.
If you're referring to the 00index.html file, it used to be generated by the ftp-html.js (or ftp-web-html.js), but since modern browsers no longer render files served by FTP, that feature was removed.
