• What did I do wrong with my events config ?

From pitichampi@21:1/235 to All on Sun Jan 29 22:26:05 2023
    Hi folks !

I have something a bit weird.

When I try to poll fsxNet with an event, I've got an authorization error. If
I poll the server in shell, everything is ok. Here is a short part of what I got on my poll.log :

    With shell :

    Howdy,

I have something a bit weird.

When I try to poll fsxNet with an event, I've got an authorization error. If

It means your BINKP session password doesnt match what Paul has for you.

I wonder if you need to restart mis? I have found that if you make changes to your linked nodes in "./mystic -cfg" you need to shutdown and restart mis so it is using your changed config.

I'm not sure this will help or not but it's worth a try.

    + 2023.01.29 22:18:02 1-Mailer binkd/1.1a-115/Linux binkp/1.1
    + 2023.01.29 22:18:03 1-Authorization failed
    + 2023.01.29 22:18:03 Polled 1 systems

this means our BinkP passwords do not match, I am not near my system to check logs at the moment, but just check your session password and perhaps make sure mis server is shutdown before you make those changes, then restart mis server afterwards

It seems to work now... Even if I had an authorization failed at first but the 2 last events seem to work fine according to the logs. Let's go for some new adventures =)

    Best regards to everyone !
