this looks very cool- saw a preview from ILM's tweet https://twitter.com/ILMVFX/status/1658879459414654976

it's coming out in September. Looks very good. I guess this
director Gareth Edwards directed Rouge One. But I don't keep track
    of directors usually.

So this and the next Dune are what I'm waiting for now.

We just watched Dune this last weekend. I thought it was pretty good. I
thought Jason Mamoa and the score were kind of the weak points. (My wife disagrees with me on the music, though...) The actress playing Lady Jessica
is also playing Juliette in the new 'Silo' series on Apple TV.

Mamoa as Duncan was a very wierd choice I agree. Duncan always seemed
much more of a wiry lean killer than a heavy weight. But oh well.

Rebecca Ferguson is amazing as Lady Jessica and as Juliette... I also
agree there. That is very good casting.

I'm re-reading Silo now and realizing how much they changed it up from
the book, but the book is really good so it's worth it.

Yeah, I expect changes with book-to-movie/tv adaptations. It doesn't bother
me when I can get a sense for why the changes were made. Honestly, with
'Silo,' the only change they've made that really doesn't make sense to me is dividing the IT group into IT and Judicial and choosing to make Judicial
the 'nefarious' branch. I don't know whether that's because they want to
temper how 'bad' Bernard is or if something else is going on. It just sort of seems unnesscessary to me.
