I read on the wiki that like other softwares, sbbs will display logon.ans after user credentials. It said that sbbs will randomly show logon1.ans logon2.ans logon3.ans etc etc...

So I threw 9 logon.ans files in the directory, but sync only shows logon.ans...

Where'd you see that? The logon*.* files are displayed in succession, not at random.

Do you have .asc or .msg equivalents? You must have a .asc or .msg file for every .ans file. Or just convert to .asc or .msg and get rid of the .ans file.

I just have .ans files in my %sbbs%/text/menu directory, and they display
when you log in with an ANSI terminal.

In the customization> menus [i think] page.. right where you just described; and I'm certain is SAYS 'in succession' and I just read as random. Its how other softwares have worked. :/

Nope, and now I know why. I always try to have a .msg first, as you told me.. I'm getting there man - the board is looking better already.

You need a .msg or a .asc equivalent of the file in addition to the .ans favor... normally.
