What FILES.BBS format is synchronet expecting? If I recall the last time I tried importing a bunch of files that the following worked:

    filename.txt "Description..."

But this kind of went haywire when I tried to import files with long descriptions.

When researching this for a script I'm writing, I find there's a ton of FILES.BBS standards, depending on the software, and mystic looks like you can specify the format... While the Synchronet docs talk about importing files.bbs, I dont see any sample format(s) on the wiki.

I think you're asking about the ADDFILES utility. It can support a variety of import list file formats (e.g. FILES.BBS) using command-line options.
See http://wiki.synchro.net/util:addfiles and http://synchro.net/docs/utility_reference.html#ADDFILES for details.
