    Hello

I am having a issue with trying to get arrowbridge to run under emudos. I would like to try and use both the command line and a
batch file to load the doors in case the cmd does not work

    Command Line being used ab.bat

    /sbbs/xtrn/doors/test$ more ab.bat
    c:\xoo
    c:\ansi
    cd e:\doors\test
    bnu.com /L0:57600,9N1 /f
    ABRIDGE /LOCKED=38400 /NODE%SBBSNNUM% /P%SBBSNODE%
    c:\xoo
    c:\ansi
    cd e:\doors\test
    bnu.com /L0:57600,9N1 /f
    ABRIDGE /LOCKED=38400 /NODE%SBBSNNUM% /P%SBBSNODE%

I also tried using for the command line ab.bat but it tries to run, blank screen and returns back to the door menu.

    /sbbs/xtrn/doors/test$ more ab.bat
    c:\xoo
    c:\ansi
    cd e:\doors\test

You do realize that trying to cd to e:\doors\test is the equivalent of /sbbs/xtrn/doors/test/doors/test right?
    E:\ in this case = /sbbs/xtrn/doors/test

    From the wiki: http://wiki.synchro.net/howto:dosemu
E: - Under this drive, the parent of the door's startup directory will be mounted. Example: E:\LORD

I didn't even look at the rest, tbh.

    In Linux

    mkdir /sbbs/xtrn/arrow
    cd /sbbs/xtrn/arrow
drop ab1v140.zip (That's the version I found anyway)
    unzip ab1v140.zip

Now you need to run DOSEMU to configure the game

    /usr/bin/env QUIET=1 HOME=/sbbs/ctrl/ DOSDRIVE_D=/sbbs/node1/ /usr/bin/dosemu.bin -f/etc/dosemu/dosemu.conf

WHen it's running, paste all these lines to be nice and safe.

    set DSZLOG=D:\PROTOCOL.LOG
    set SBBSNODE=D:
    set SBBSNNUM=1
    set SBBSCTRL=F:
    set SBBSDATA=G:
    set SBBSEXEC=H:
    set PCBNODE=1
    set PCBDRIVE=D:
    set PCBDIR=\
    lredir E: linux\fs\sbbs
    lredir F: linux\fs\sbbs\ctrl
    lredir G: linux\fs\sbbs\data
    lredir H: linux\fs\sbbs\exec
    E:
    cd \arrow

Now you'll run the setup tools.

    ABTOOLS SETUP
    Menu option B. Enter A & B and select 1 for D
Menu option P. enter E:\ARROW for option A
Menu option G. Change the season y/n to your liking
    Save changes

Now create the game files with

    ABTOOLS CREATE

You're done, you can exit with exitemu

Now run scfg and configure your game accordingly.

For the drop file, it doesn't matter if you use realname or not and upper or lower case, though it's usually best to stick with one. I usually make mine lowercase since that's linux, and DOS can still read it.

    Save and recycle. Enjoy.

Oh, you may need a fossel driver but I think I saw you loaded one, so you should be good to go.
