• v3.19 stable?

    Hi,

As I'm relatively new to Synchronet and the release cycle, I have a question:

Can the new version 3.19a, now that it has its version number, be considered a stable release?
I've looked at the "Releases" page of git.synchro.net (https://gitlab.synchro.net/main/sbbs/-/releases), but there the latest release is 3.18b.

    Thank you!

    Regards,
    Anna

3.19b is stable, but still undergoing development and I think a lot still
needs testing with the new file base. If you don't mind updating from time to time, 3.19a should be fine for most people.

No. It the current version under development. When released, v3.19 will have a differet revision letter (not 'a') and there will be corresponding announcements and archives created and made available for download.

    That's correct.

    Thank you for the answer!
Then I'll wait for that release :)
