    Hi There

I'm playing around on riscos writing a little bbs as a diversion :) anyway, i'm using linemode rather than character at a time.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if syncterm doesn't support line mode.

    I'm sending:

    255, 253, 1
    255, 253, 3
    255, 251, 34

(IAC WONT ECHo, IAC WONT SGA and IAC WILL LINEMODE)

It's working in the linux telnet client, and also nettle (the riscos telnet client) however syncterm appears to be doing line mode, it's just not echoing characters.

I know linemode is not normally used in bbses, and it's def not supported in magiterm, so i thought i'd try syncterm with it being the most feature full :)

SyncTERM doesn't support echo (it won't echo) or line mode. Its should be NAKing your commands. Are you watching for Telnet responses from the client?

Nah, just dropping them, I should have thought to look at them - it's just a very very simple thing to have a break from other things :)

Thanks for the quick response, much appreciated :)
