    hello, whats this mail.lock file?

    i looked up the wiki server:mail entry and don't see it.
    for some reason datastream generated that file on the 21st.

    Sounds like the data/mail base was locked (e.g. for maintenace, but smbutil). If no Synchronet-utilities are actively doing something with the mail base, it'd be safe to delete the file.

    yeah i deleted it and everything was fine. datastream runs by itself and has done so for years. i do check on it frequently. there is no mail going through so i found that strange.
