I see my scripy screwed the post up on VERT, it will be right next time, I posting in CTRL-A in hopes that non ANSi viewser can see it also, but forg switch my qwk setting on vert to expand to ansi.
Or should I leave it on CTRL-A?
mine is setup to export CTRL-A.
and that ad just looked scrwed.
Maybe just post ansi? or ascii next time?
It looked fine to me on my Mystic BBS and Syncterm.

Yea, it apears that way on all SBBS systems who poll from VERT, looks perfect here. but screwed at vert.. It's posted as CTRL_A, guess I should fomat better or post as ANSi, or ascii.

strange.. it was screwed up on the systems it should have looked good on, and looked fine on the system it should have screwed up on. guess I'll either covert to ascii or get rid of it.. I did set vert to expand it to ansi now, it was keeping it as ctrl-a, my system only has the option to
Probably just a formatting problem. I havent done any ansi, ascii, or other form of art in years.

The setting on Vertrauen affects how messages are exported from Vertrauen for your system (not the other way around). Double-check that you have SCFG->Networks->QWK->Hubs->VERT->Sub-boards... each set to "Leave In" Ctrl-A Codes.

Yes, thats how I put it for any SBBS system I send mail to is to leave in CTRL-A because that would be a more generic way of getting it across the net, plus take care of the users who do not use colors, this is how I do it on my system, every menu or file I display I convert to CTRL-A so I do not need two,
But its kinda strange the only system that receieved it from the hub (vert) correctly was not an sbbs.

Shit!
Hey, that's my word :) Honestly, as a general rule of thumb, I don't post ansi ads for the problems you are having. Every system displays them differently. I try to post only ASCII. If I do post in color, I only use ansi, and keep the width under 75 to allow for those old editors. Most editors can handle ansi, bit the older ones have no idea what Sync Codes are, or PCB codes are, or the many other color codes you can use. A case in point, My GAP system can handle Ansi or PCB codes, but the other codes look like jiberish. When puplishing in color, keep in mind that not everyone uses synchronet, which can display almost any color code. Please don't take this the wrong way, as I'm not trying to but into your business, I'm just letting you know what I have discovered over the years. Hope this helps.
Synchronet v3.16 and later automatically word-wraps message text when displaying to terminal users, so that appears to be the issue with the originally posted ANSI. Reading the message in raw I/O mode (Ctrl-Z to enable), disables word-wrap and displays the ANSI just fine in Synchronet v3.16+.
the best route to go. and go figure, the only system that picked it up correctly was a WILDCAT system If I'm not mistaken.
Think I'll just sticl with ascii from now on, I also forgot that people use offline readers. I'v never seen a reason to use one, but I've never

PCBoard/Wildcat Format
Two of the Color Code formats which Synchronet supports (PCBoard and Wildcat) use similar, yet cryptic, methods of displaying colors. The PCBoard method uses the format "@X<Background><Foreground>", and Wildcat
