Considering the bbsfinder website domain has been lost twice now, it'd
be nice to have something with a "real time BBS list".
Its up and functional now and checks every BBS ever 6 hours. Only need to M>adjust the template to be a little prettier... M>https://bbslist.synchronetbbs.org - all BBSs welcome!

The main users of the BBS nowadays are the Sysops, although I have a
few non-Sysops online.

The pay plan just adds to how many images and files your listing can have, or if your listing is "featured". Honestly i dont expect most people to do that, so no pressure to do it :) I just figured that rather than have a donation option where you get nothing other than the service your $3/6 months would actually give you something :)Its up and functional now and checks every BBS ever 6 hours. No, there are actually a few users out there that do not run a BBS I have a few myself.

I'm somewhat guilty, too. i should be donating to rick parrish for running that ftelnet proxy. when i get my bonus this year i will send him some money.
futhermore, if you see on seans fb group there's a sysop that opened up a telnet file server for other people to link to seamlessly so their users can share in the files. he's trying to get other bbses to participate. the dicks in the group just want to leech all his files so they can have it on
Hi Marisa, this is very cool. I'm happy to participate. I'm curious; how are you checking for the online status of the BBS? Would be cool if there was no need for a BBS side facing push/pull mechanism similiar to how bbslink works. Well you're still "technically" the co-sysop hahaha... I have it closed to new users right now. Still working out the kinks and updating the code where needed since some things have changed since 2006 when I took it down...

Thank god! It was a feature back in 2005 that was never realized. The old rumors database still talks about it. Hahah...
i'm not joking, i actually did make an actual midget porn menu based on the joke and it was hidden from you and it had some big headed dwarf porn pics. i might have removed it.
