Do you remember the Commodore Pet 2001? We first used that in elementary school. It was a 1 piece system similar to the Radio Shack TRS-80 models.
I used a variety of PET[1]s in high school. They had some models with a whopping 32k of RAM, real keyboard, and 80 column screen. 2 140k floppies us that weird IEEE bus, and an add-on chip that did cool graphics.
