    Nothing wrong with that - I mean, resurrecting an old thread. If
    we didn't have a listing/history of older threads (even the one
    you based your message on from one in Mar 2020), any echo would
    look rather empty.

    Kudos to systems that do keep a modicum of messages to read, even
    for nostalgic purposes.

    Tim Pozar (instrumental is building software to map Fidonet to
    the Internet) [ref. The Virtual Community, by Howard Rheinhold,
    p. 139] ..started up the site http://olduse.net "updated in real
    time as it was thirty years ago" and the complementary nntp group comp.org.fidonet and republishes the Fidonews from 30 years ago
    on the same date from 30 years ago. For example, the latest issue
    is Dec 20, 1990. ;)

    It is interesting insight on how people thought about Fidonet and
    bbsing back then.
