    I tried customizing my BBS login, now I get errors during login.

    term Node 1 !ERROR in prntfile.cpp line 311 (menu) checking "/opt/sbbs/sbbs/text/menu/../banner1.msg" access=0

    Does anyone know how to track this down?
    I created a banner1.ans
    I also moved the random*.msg out of text/menu.

    I renamed banner1.msg, banner2.msg, banner3.msg so they wouldn't be picked up.

    My next plan is to try reinstalling the bbs software, but I would prefer not to do that.

    The stock text/answer.msg file has this line: @wordwrap@@menu:../banner*@@truncate@

    Which is trying to display any random banner*.* files from your text directory.

    I created a banner1.ans
    I also moved the random*.msg out of text/menu.

    They should be in the text menu by default (not text/menu).

    I renamed banner1.msg, banner2.msg, banner3.msg so they wouldn't be picked up.

    Just remove the mentioned line from your text/answer.msg file if you don't want a banner.
