    i have a question. in my newuser command shell i have limited options but once they use the validator i want it to take the newuser command shell away
    and give them the default.
    any ideas on a command line structure to put in the shell to do this?

    Simply change your access requirements for the shells (in SCFG) to require an 'N' flag or something (for new unvalidated users), and delete this flag after successful validation (however that is done). Synchronet will automatically switch shells when the user logs in (since they will no longer have access to the "new user" shell).
