Has anyone enable to get Tradewars V2 to run under Linux and Dosemu? If so, can you please include what Linux, Version, Version of Dosemu and please include the settings your using to call the program?

    Thanks

After a few goes with different Linux distros and dosemu versions and
codepage hacking, I ended up giving up on that project and just spun up
a Windows VM. I'd love a recipe with specific versions and packages, but everything I tried didn't work.

I tried Debian and Ubuntu and I had no luck with getting it to work. It has to be something with the way he wrote tw because all the other doors work with no issues.

Myself I've never really tried, I keep a windows VM to run TWGS as a
windows service. I've set the door to *telgate to it . I could have
*rlogin with the added advantage that it would have passed the username
to TWGS, but I've also opened the ip directly so that players can bypass
my bbs, so I use telnet instead.

It work for my, but eventually I will play with wine on a linux box to
try to make it work "windows" less.

Can you please tell me how you got TW to work with wine?

    Thanks
