  • Feature Request: Atari ATASCII

    PETSCII is pretty similar to ASCII, which made supporting it (PETSCII) along with US-ASCII, CP437, and UTF-8 practical. ATASCII is not similar to ASCII at all, making it much more difficult to support (as an input and output character set) in Synchronet.

    I guess that explains why at time the ATASCII support on the Commodore Centipede 128 BBS software does not always look 100%. I hear it is currently being worked on for Image BBS but have yet to see how that looks.

    Well bummer, it was worth asking. ;)

    So yeah, this would be pretty simple to add now, but we would need someone who cares enough about it to develop and debug menus and stuff as well as actually run a BBS and report issues.
