DCTNet? I don't have it for download, but I think that's what the Amigos
    use.

Hi. For 2000, for Kickstart 1.3, I believe ncomm worked.
For something more modern, dctelnet. I believe it required Kickstart 2+.

You can try Terminus 2.0 or Term 4.8 I think it was. I used to use Terminus when I was on my Amiga back in the day.. Just replace the phone number with the telnet address and you should be good to go.

These, NComm, and DCTelnet are good for BBSing in 2025.

It would be cool for someone to do a roundup of all the popular Amiga terms. Maybe I will!

They all have strengths and weaknesses. E.g. DCTelnet requires an 020 or higher, but has very nice rendering of CP437 art. Some terminals have more complete ANSI sequence support, so ANSI animations will work better on those. Some terminals require certain KickStart modules, so will struggle on memory-constrained machines with old KS ROMS.

Let us know how you get on, mary! Keen to hear how you get on with Absinthe specifically, they got some wild ANSImation going on over there!

    Cheers,
    RetroSwim
