SOLVED: Renegade color codes

Hi all,
Was chatting in IRC last night with Nightfox, and he got me pointed in the right direction to finally figure out why I couldn't see the "pipe code" colors in messages on my system. Turns out there are TWO places to set the "Extra Attribute Codes" settings...
First, there is a place in each and every echo area configuration. In Synchronet SCFG, you go to the Message Area, choose your Message Group, then the Sub-Board, then under "Toggle Options" you'll see "Extra Attribute Codes" where you can enable/disable several different varieties of color codes. In my case, I had those all turned on for FSXnet, but it wasn't working.
The second place to enable these codes is in the main "System" menu when you first enter SCFG. Right there on that menu (last item listed) is another "Extra Attribute Codes" choice, where you again can enable/disable various codes.
What I found is that the widely used "DDMsgReader" module in SBBS pays attention to *this* setting, not the settings for individual echos in a given message network. Enabling the codes here allowed the proper display of color codes in messages viewed on the BBS.
They still don't work in an offline reader (at least in MultiMail), but that's a whole different issue, and not likely to get resolved.
Thanks again to Nightfox for helping me narrow this down to find the two places for settings. Also appreciate the replies and suggestions from everyone else who was following this thread!
