³ DESQview in DOSBOX, eh? Are you running a DOS image inside of it? If
³ memory serves, DESQView needed QEMM to run.

That is correct. You could run QEMM for memory management and not run DV,
but DV needed QEMM in order to work properly.

³ Yes, I am running QEMM also! DOSBox-X booting an MS-DOS 6.22 image with QEMM ³ 8.0 and DESQview 2.80, also with Microsoft Network Client version 3.0 for DOS ³ to mount a network share as drive D:.

My recollection of a QEMM install was that it made changes to your
AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS and did at least two reboots to verify the settings. When you install it into an emulator, like DOSBOX-X, when it
does the reboot steps, does it simply close the session for you to restart
    it?

I always wondered about that. I would like to try setting up a dosemu or dosbox to use MS-DOS (either 5.0 or 6.22) and to use at least QEMM just to
see what I can do with it.
