I haven't been to VCF, but I did have the pleasure of visiting the Computer History Museum in 2016 and it was very impressive and I had a great time. The IBM 1401 demonstration was fantastic, the volunteers doing the demonstration shared their stories of how they had gotten to work with these systems earlier in their careers. They even let us punch our own cards! It was really cool to see a full system installed and operational. And the IBM 1401 was only ONE of the amazing displays.

For anyone maybe considering going to the Computer History Museum, I strongly recommend you do it!
